It all began in 1970 when grandfather Tonino and grandmother Lina, originally from the town of Brindisi, went exploring the hills of the Itria Valley, in search of peace, nature and “good air” for their three children. Enchanted by the unspoilt, wild landscape of the area and the kindness of the local people, they knew that from then on they would spend all their summers there. They began by buying a few small trulli and a piece of land, on which grandfather Tonino built the summer house. And while he laid the bricks for the house, Grandma Lina watched the flowers grow in her precious garden, which she loved so much. Years later, the passion for this place was passed on to their three granddaughters, who were lucky enough to spend unforgettable summers between the sea and the olive trees. Today Casalina, thanks to a renovation, shines again as it did then, offering its guests the opportunity to experience a special stay.
